BAIRNS ON FILM - Falkirk F.C In The Camera Eye

This part of the website contains photos and video of a Falkirk nature, whether it is on the field off the field or to do with the club in any nature. My thanks to those donating the pictures. Updated when humanly possible.

Moving Picture Bairns

Falkirk are visible everywhere these days, whether it be on Setanta, BBC or whoever takes an interest. Nowadays, anyone with a decent camera can film a few seconds of action. Most of this can be found on YouTube. Simply type in 'Falkirk' and you will come across a healthy selection of inebriates, The Wheel and our beloved Bairns.

Recently on Google Video, several clips appeared which told the story of one of the greatest seasons ever seen by Bairns. The 1990/91 First Division was such a cracking competition that Sportscene and Scotsport ignored the Premier League and sent their cameras to much more entertaining encounters instead, most notably involving Falkirk. Here are the links to the games, which are also available to download from Google.

Airdrie The last away game against Airdrie. Following Sam's hattrick earlier in the season, Airdrie surely would wise up to the Bairns...or would they?
Dundee Dundee visiting Brockville. One of our main rivals from the title, and a cracking 0-0 draw. Look for the unbelievable miss from Dee towards the end.
Accies Falkirk taking on Hamilton Accies. I remember this well - we knew the title was soon to be ours and Accies could do no right on the day - and our former keeper Allan Ferguson was no exception!
Partick Partick Thistle at Firhill. The good old days when we took more on tour than we got at Brockville. Chico the Clown couldn't derail us in their desperate attempt to cling to a title hope. I had to walk through Maryhill with a Thistle scarf on after missing the bus home!
Meadowbank Falkirk win the title against Meadowbank. A glorious day indeed. Brockville was packed, and we even gave the visitors a couple of goals. I missed this one - for a wedding in Kirkcaldy!!!!
