WHO IS

1993:"In the prime of my youth....what on earth went wrong?!"

EWAN MACKIE

I am thirtysomething years old and though originally from Grangemouth, I live in Holland, in the Amsterdam area. As a football lover in general, I have been watching Feyenoord on a regular basis. I have lived here for over four years but lived previously in France, thanks to my work at Eurodisney.
I worked at Hewlett-Packard as a support agent for Network products, but after getting increasingly bored and fed up looked elsewhere and became System Manager with Antraciet, an internet/interactive design company. After a very enjoyable 4 months, I joined UUNET, which has now become MCI and after 2 years I have become a Senior Engineer in their Amsterdam Expertise Centre. In my spare time I go to the occasional match or whatever is happening at that time. I also collect a lot of football memorabillia, particularly shirts.
I hope you enjoy the site but if your Bairns it shouldn't be too difficult. If you like football then it will be reasonable and if you are from Dunfermline then why are you here?
Hello to my colleagues who are probably reading this bit.

2003:The dream of playing at Brockville - and I end up behind a desk!

Best Experience At Brockville
1990 - Was feeling quite down and after a long abscence, through college commitments, went back to Brockville to see the match against Raith Rovers. We trounced them 7-1 and as the final whistle blew, echoes of "we want 8" and "Connor must stay" (the ultra-arrogant Raith manager in his last game) rang around the ground.

Best Falkirk kit

The Hummel shirts from 1991-1994. People thought "oh God, they'll be really unfashionable and boring". Not to be, we had a great return to the Premier and bounced straight back to the Premier wearing them.

Best player

Simon Stainrod. One of the reasons it was always so packed on the terracing. His skills, leadership and charisma made Falkirk great and got us a lot of coverage from the normally reserved media.

Best manager
Jim Jeffries. Even though he left us in rather suspicious circumstances, he still created a team that struck fear into all opponents and took us within a point of Europe.

With Alex Totten, during my visit to Brockville in October 1998

With Kevin McAllister, winning the Dutch national shirt as the site's first "Player Of The Year" competition.
